Silk Bandhani scarf is fabricated using an Indian tie-dyeing technique by plucking the cloth with a small tool and tying innumerable dots into floral and geometric designs.

Produced by SIDR Craft, an artisan enterprise established in 1992 by brothers Abdul Jabbar Khatri and Abdulla Khatri, belonging to the Khatri Community of Traditional Tie-Dyers in Kutch, Gujarat, India - practitioners of this craft for centuries. SIDR Craft is a creative and socially responsible enterprise, involving around 200 craftswomen in Kutch, making exclusive silk and cotton stoles, scarves, and shawls, apart from working on customized collections for international designers. Its founders have been conferred the UnESCO Seal of Excellence for standard-setting quality in craftsmanship.
